New-Build House | North Ayrshire

We were approached to design a new farmhouse in rural Ayrshire.

Along with his two sons, our client had been residing for several years, in termporary accommodation on their farm on the outskrits of Irvine, North Ayrshire.  They required a permanent residence on the farm that would provide them with a simple but adequate living space.

With plans to construct much of the house themselves as 'self-builders', we ensured the house was designed with simplicity while maintaining an elegant, modern look.

One of the biggest challenges of building on rural land is the very strict Planning Regulations. Our design was simple, inoffensive but well-considered - and Planning Permission was granted without issue.
